Internships

In an effort to move forward campus sustainability efforts, the Urban Sustainability Initiative is partnering with Campus Sustainability Coordinator Tara Pike to support undergraduate research interns to conduct a waste management study and to develop a greenhouse gas inventory for the campus. The internships were advertised through UNLV Career Services in November 2008. Review of applications was conducted by the Director of Sustainability, the Campus Sustainability Coordinator, and the Vice President for Finance and Business. Two interns were selected in January 2009, one supported by USI and the other through the Rebel Recycling Program.
